Anna Maria Shpak

My name is Anna ( yes, just like the Princess from the Disney Movie, Frozen).

Helping and bringing service to others was always my passion. I discovered love for teaching at age 16,  when I was a figure skating coach assistant, teaching kids how to ice skate. The passion for teaching and helping others continued to increase when I got hired to be a TA at the Organic Chemistry lab, at the university I graduated from. In my junior year of college, I started tutoring children within my community in various subjects. From that moment in time, I realized my mission is to be a tutor. Fast forward to a present day, I am full time remote tutor working with students all across the US .

 

Back in the day, I was a homeschool student most of my school career, which lead me to graduating college two years earlier than planned. Through out my intense journey to higher education, I learned quite a lot of things which, currently, help me be a better tutor for my students.

I not only help my students academically, but along the way help find healthy perceptions of themselves. I believe that doing so sets a better path for unlocking the true potential and greater achievements in the future. School one day ends, but skills acquired along the schooling journey stay with the person forever. 

 

I believe my job as a tutor is to guide on to the right path those students who want to learn, grow and develop new knowledge but require an extra push in the right direction.
